Rails Envy Podcast - Episode #081: 06/05/2009

by Jason on Jun 05, 2009

Episode 81. We're joined this week by the awesome Corey Haines. This podcast is chock full of news and awkwardness. We do apologize for the sound quality this episode -- my one mic had a bit of difficulty picking up 3 people and keeping the levels consistent. Hope you like it!

Saw Corey’s talk in Romania. Maybe we’ll meet next year too ;)

I always wondered how my name sounds when pronounced by english speaking people. Now I know! Had to be something like that. I need to come up with some kind of artist name..

Carl – June 07, 2009 @ 11:00 PM

@August, you should send them a wav file of you saying your name. In fact, everyone should do that if your name is even remotely possible to mispronounce. And then they could just play that file rather than murdering people’s names, though that is fun. If they had enough, maybe they could even remix them into “Ain’t got no RSpec II” or something.

Gregg Pollack – June 08, 2009 @ 10:06 AM

LOL yeah, sorry about the name August, and great idea Carl!

August Lilleaas – June 08, 2009 @ 01:16 PM

@Carl: Hah, that’s a good idea! Especially when my name is pronounced as “Lily Ass”.
