ok, one could say I’m focusing on the wrong things, but could you please write down name of that song? :)

@Greg/Jason: You guys are too cool!!! I am just getting into rails and i after building a small app i won’t ever get-with the s* side of the force again.

I got into Rails by (1) watching your lone-star Ruby Conf video (2) A gentlemen named Andy Jeffries wrote a post about how he thinks Rails is and ideal web-development environment.

=> since then i haven’t looked back.

I am constantly talking with people over here in Pakistan about Rails and have even started training my own office people. Its wonderful to see old time developers (who are caught up with asp, can you imagine?) take to this platform, and take quickly.

Thank you guys for your ever lasting inspiration. Rails needs sincere people like yourselves.

Happy New Year to you all!!! btw strange to know that peeps aren’t checking new relic out. Its the first thing i did when i saw your ad…

Sinatra also has support for regular expressions in routes in the current edge / Hoboken version. The abstraction depth from Rack is also reduced. Can’t wait for it to drop as the primary version..!

@comboy I’ll do you one better, here’s the music video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pnoaj8b2bGM

@Ahad Thank you very much!

@peterc That’s pretty awesome. Sinatra is great, I can’t wait until it makes it in to Rails 5 ;)

In keeping with smutty Rails plugin names, I’ve been meaning to mention one of my plugins that’s been around for a while, Stripper http://github.com/harukizaemon/stripper. I considered renaming to acts_as_stripper but I’ve been too busy simply updating the other plugins to Rails 2.2 and gems that I haven’t thought much more about it lol.

Anyhoo, love the ‘cast. Keep up the good work!
