We're taking a week off of the podcast since J got mauled by just nine 5 year olds, poor bastard. Instead we've decided to go ahead and post the out-takes from the Rails vs Everything videos, enjoy!
View on YouTubeIn other news.. this week I went to Boston to talk at XML 2017. Lots of interesting talks on xforms and xml document databases, hopefully we'll talk about some of this stuff on next week's podcast. I also had the pleasure of talking at the Boston Ruby Users Group.
Next thursday, December 13th us will be talking at the Orlando Ruby Users Group. J is talking on Unobtrusive Javascript, and I'll be talking on Demystifying REST.
Also worth mentioning, at the Ruby Group we'll be raffling off a free ticket to the Future of Web Apps conference taking place in Miami on February 29th. us will be headed down to this event, as well as BarCampMiami, taking place on the previous day, Thursday, February 28th. Can you say, nerds in paradise?. heh.. Whatever happened to Dudley "Booger" Dawson?

omg that is awesome !
Absolutely hilarious - glad you guys put this together too :)
Whoops. I dug the YouTube video, not your button above.
No lie: you keep making your “bug in MySpace” moans, I’m going to find you, and I’m going to bone you. So super hot.
Hey! We have that same musical flashing-light stackable toy thing for our kid too! What the hell are those things called…
That was the funniest thing I have seen in weeks. My wife and I were both dying by the end.
@ Justin - We have one as well. That would be a “Fisher Price Dance Baby Dance Classical Stacker”.
Because I can’t let it die, hot URL action
If it makes you feel any better J, I get my ass kicked regularly by my world of warcraft playing 5 year old son and his wolverine-like 7 year old sister.
Can’t wait for the next podcast!
So funny! I like this.
