Nice podcast. I’d post something sarcastic and off-color but I have to study for a test.

If people actually use WAGNR as their ringtone for more than ten minutes I’ll be surprised.

“Do you think we have listeners that actually do something other than web development…?” ... You have listeners that don’t even do web development! I don’t do anything more advanced than deploying Drupal installations, but for some reason I’ve listened intently to every one of your podcasts >_> ... Maybe someday I’ll be a real web developer.

Thanks for the mention of Ruby Manor – we’re hoping we can show that you don’t need to spend $700 to hang out with good Ruby people.

You did also mention that merb slices were like engines, except that they didn’t suck. Care to explain?

Guys, keep up the great work! Thanks for Mack mention, again. We appreciate the support. :)

Hi Guys!

I’m a real fan of the show and don’t do anything with ruby or rails ;-)

Keep up the great work!

p.s. is there anyway to download all your great sound effects & ring tones ? (I clicked my ass of at http://www.soundsnap.com/ but could not find the beauty’s you use ;-)

Hey, finally got around to listening to this week’s episode, and saw the mention of the Textmate-style completion for Vim. I wrote a wrapper around Jamis’ fuzzy_finder gem to get the same completion for Emacs: http://ruby-on-the-interrails.blogspot.com/2008/10/introducing-fuzzy-find-in-project.html. It’s a lot faster than Emacs’ built-in fuzzy finder for huge projects.

Omega: I was being sarcastic, but it’s good to know we’re entertaining enough for non-Ruby developers to enjoy the show.

Mark: You keep up the great work as well! Thanks for returning the favor and posting about us on the Mack blog. It’s appreciated.

Diederik: Hmmm… I think alot of the “sound effects” Jason uses when he edits the podcast come from Garage Band / Sound Track Pro’s library of sounds. This is why you may not be able to find a specific one. If you really need a certain one, just drop Jason and email and I’m sure he can send it over.

Justin: That’s pretty cool, I’ll keep that in the notes for the podcast next week (already recorded this week)

@R Elliott Mason: I’ve been using WAGNR as a ringtone since it was released, and actually enjoy it when the full remix comes up in my iTunes. I’m secretly hoping that I hear a DJ drop the tune at a Summer festival this season, but I don’t know if many pro DJs spend their spare time hacking Ruby.

Sorry, comments are closed for this Post, but feel free to email Gregg & Jason with your input. We'd love to hear it.
